In order to be successful in this profession, you ought to be tactful and dependable. These days, locksmiths are very much in demand and are required at different places such as hard-ware stores, local locksmith shops, factories and large industrial plants, lock and key manufacturers etc. If you wish to climb up the ladder and work for a big corporation then you can train yourself further in security systems such as burglar and fire alarm systems and you might end up securing a white-collar job in some hi-fi IT organization.
As for locksmith wages, an average locksmith can make about £30-£75 per hour depending on their skills and experience.
